Fan control with a relay is suitable for controlling fans, water pumps, and other items that may require temperature control. It is ideal for those who haven't programmed temperature control in the ECU and are looking for a simple yet effective solution to control fans, for example.
Specifications:
Max Voltage: 12 to 27V (for 24V, relays need to be replaced, not included in the kit)
Max Current: Rated at 30 amps per fan (maximum 40 amps per fan). The unit comes with 2 x 30 amp fuses and 2 x 40 amp relays
Relay Configuration: Dual relay
Sensor Cable Length: 320 cm total (290 cm cable from switch plus 30 cm sensor contact)
Speed: Single speed, 10-second delay to start the second fan
Applications: Suitable for single and dual fan applications
Screen Display: LED digital temperature display, current temp + set temp
Temperature Display: Celsius or Fahrenheit
Temperature Settings: 40°C to 110°C (104°F to 230°F)
Temperature Setting: Push-button

Note: If you are using this switch for use with a Davies Craig EWP, it will not vary the pump speed in response to engine temperature but rather turn the pump on and off at your set temperature. For EWP control, we recommend item number DC-8002, which can manage both the EWP and your thermal fans.
